Jillibean-Home made 6 bean soup

Here is a page I made using Jillibean's Home made 6 bean soup collection. I used it to make a page from when I went to Charleston, SC to visit with my nephew who just got a firefighting job there. The colors in this line were just perfect! This layout I kept pretty simple since I had so many pictures to try and fit on, but I did my best to fit as much pattern and pizazz to my page as I could ;)

Cropping at Scrapbook Art

Hey all! I just wanted to let you know I will be up at Scrapbook Art tomorrow for most of the day for their all day crop! I am hoping to get lots done to post up here so be on the look out over the next few weeks =).

Also, if you are in the area stop on in for a visit!! Several of us who worked at Pizazz It will be there including my mom (Pizazz It's owner) and we would LOVE to see some familiar faces!

Basic Grey-That's My Dad Page

For this page I used the Basic Grey "Max & Whiskers" line, a wonderful pet line. But I decided to change it up a bit and rather than using it for my pets I ended up making a "dad" page with it, the colors are perfect and there are tons of generic patterns that can go for any occasion (especially for men and the beach!)

Below are 8 different pages I made using the Simple Stories Elementary Line.... as you can see, considering I have already done 2 other posts on this line, I absolutely LOVE it! The colors are great and they make it so easy to make quick and amazing pages.

Scrapbook Art Grand Opening

Scrapbook Art had their Grand Opening Saturday, July 30th & it was a success! I went up with Tiffany and my mom (who used to own Pizazz It! Scrapbooks). We went in early, around 9am to set up some diecuts we made for them and welcomed everybody into the store when they opened at 10am. Us at Pizazz It told everybody via facebook that we would be there in the morning if anybody wanted to drop by and see the store and say "hello" to us and sure enough we ran into some of our old "customers". It was really great catching up with everyone we ran into =)

For anybody who reads this and wants to come see us from Pizazz It! most of us will be at Scrapbook Art all day on August 20th for their all day crop, so please stop by and catch up with us!

Of course, I wouldn't be a true scrapbooker if I didn't take photos of Scrapbook Arts grand opening.... so here are some photos. If you haven't made it in yet be sure to make some time and visit, Terri the new owner had set up the store beautifully and there really is a LOT of nice NEW things.

Another Simple Stories Elementary Collection Page

I used this sketch earlier in one of my blog posts but I love it so much I just had to use it again with the Simple Stories Elementary Collection.

Materials Used:

-Red & White Cardstock
-Elementary 12x12 Fundamental Cardstock Stickers

-Elementary Collection Report Card

-Elementary Collection Smarty Pants

Instructions:

-White Cardstock is background

-Cut 9 1.5x1.5 squares out of Smarty Pants paper and adhere like in sketch

-Cut 3.5x5 photo mat out of red cardstock and adhere like in sketch

-Then cut 1.5x10.5 strip out of red cardstock and adhere centered vertically to the left of your squares

-Next take the Cardstock Stickers and take off the scallop boarder with the alphabet all over it and adhere to the left of the red cardstock strip

-Last take the Report Card paper and cut out the pop quiz embelishment and adhere overlapping the strips

Simple Stories Elementary

Materials Used:
-White, Yellow & Brown cardstock
-Simple Stories Elementary 12x12 Expression Cardstock Stickers #1203
-Simple Stories Elementary 2x12 Border & 4x12 strip elements #1214
-Simple Stories Elementary 4x4 & 6x8 photo mat elements #1213
-Black Ink

**I ink all edges with a black ink

Instructions:
-White cardstock is background

-Cut yellow cardstock 11x9.5 & adhere centered & toward the right side of your page

-Take the boarders paper and cut the brown w/ multicolored polka dots out and adhere horizontally 2" from the bottom of your page

-Then take the photo mat elements page and cut out the argyle paper with #1-8 and adhere toward the bottom right of your yellow cardstock overlapping the polka dot strip

-Then cut (3) 3 1/4x3 1/4 squares out of your brown cardstock and adhere starting at the top of your page going down (to the left of the photo elements piece)

-Next take the white cardstock and put (3) 3x3 photo mats and adhere centered in the brown photo mats

-Take the boarder paper and cut the "it takes courage to grow..." pattern & adhere to the left of your photo mats

-Last take the alphabet sticker sheet and adhere your title
